Birds bush dome clock
Birds bush dome clock
Blaise Bontems
secoind hald of 19th century
Bush of five naturalized birds under dome with pendulum and spun glass fountain.
Blaise Bontems. Ep. Napoleon III.
Two hummingbirds jump from branch to branch, while a third one is in its nest. A fourth bird is resting on the clock while another leans to drink from the river, fed by a spun, twisted glass source.
The movement of the different birds is completely natural. Their songs would need to be revised.
The complete clock triggers all movements as it passes. The existence of a manual control allows for operation at will.
A crack in the back of the dome was repaired.
Winding by key.
Hauteur totale 61cm – largeur de la base 47 cm
Estimation 3000/5000€
