The whole thing folds and is enclosed in a slight portfolio.”
Set of silhouettes of Chinese shadows in cut cardboard, armed with wire for manipulation. Some articulated.
Formerly arranged in binders by title, the many characters are to be grouped together to allow them to exchange again in the sketches of Vaudeville, provided by the merchant Giroux, specialized in princely gifts.

Condition
Many characters, some are to be completed. Large silhouettes of three-masted and various ships, marine animals (whale, sperm whale, various sea monsters), exotic (elephant, lions, rhinoceros) and farm; African hunting scene; circus troupe (equilibrist, perchist, rope-dancer, ballerina) magic lantern showman; street puppeteer; equestrian statue, fountain and pole of cocagne; donkeys seated at table; Parisian characters (couple in canoe, sapper climbing a ladder, shop of shoe-maker and his customers, mother spanking her child, administration of the clysterium)...
